I2: Re: "By the way, nice timing on UTEK. Was that your 120,000 share order just before noon? "

Yeah, and I would have really got UTEK running but four that Brinker 4% rule <GGG>.

No, I went at the open because I knew the big boys were banging the bids all over the place in this sector. They were ready to pile in after the BTB. Well, I was already there big time as I was buying hand over fist yesterday. Then I saw little old UTEK sitting there. And it sure took them long enough to fill my buy order. Why it was as if they had not seen a real buy order there in a long time.

I remember talking to an analyst about UTEK and the first thing he said to me was there was a strong retail interest in the stock. I thought that was interesting and filed that thought away. And that is why it has never achieved more reasonable valuations IMO. So long as there are Brinkerheads moving in and out of this stock, it just acts differently and one must just accept that fact and work within that framework in order to make it work for you.

With that said, this sector is a huge buy now in my mind. I will be buying on any weakness if the price is right. This sector has the ability of going through the summer strong in the face of the technology slump. These stocks lit a fire under the NASDAQ today.
