Good to hear employee morale is good. Stock holders need some thing good for their morale at this point. Hope the AV news does something good for that.

Gee, I hope so and I hope they do it the right way. Spin it off to shareholders.

Remember this....
1. AV does virtually nothing for Compaqs bottom line. Maybe it adds a penny to earnings. Yahoo internally would do little for the profits of Compaq either. Just to compare.
As a stand alone company...well that's a different story. You know it, all you have to do it look at the chart of other, stand alone search engines. Who, knows, by now, had they spun AV off, someone may have driven it through the roof on a takeover.
Meanwhile, time is a wastin'.
