Agreed on the simple plan. However, do you know the kind of hardware that they are using? (we are not talking NT here) Their servers are getting a billion hits a day now and they keep adding capacity. The technical barriers, in terms of complexity, to entry are low. However, the capital cost is not. Nothing that a successful IPO can't fix though eh?
In which case why would any of the major web sites go with another provider when they know that DCLK has the reach? Why don't you have a go? And I mean that seriously. If it is that easy to replicate then a new internet company can be born and you can be at the helm. Look at how Ebay stole Onsale's thunder with a more elegant approach to web auctions. They were not the first mover.
