(on topic) Those posts from you and others remind me of that short story I once told. on a navy ship during World War II hit by enemy fire and sinking so lots of the crew ran towards the life boats abandon ship they shouted, as they lowered themselves into the water but they were troubled by not seeing the sink disappear into the sea they keep on shouting to those on the ship to abandon it and they keep on waiting for the ship to sink into the deep cold sea but the Captain and others were working to save the ship,to keep it afloat and after a while the ship stopped sinking, but close to sinking it was the Captain and some crew prevented a total lost but the ship was in very much danger still, but still afloat and those in the life boats saw this and started shouting over and over THE SHIP HAS SUNK UNDER THE WATER, AND ITS COMPLETELY GONE, TOTAL LOST later the ship was repaired enough and regained power those in the lifeboats were throwned lines so they could climb aboard but they would not, and keep on shouting THE SHIP HAS SUNK UNDER THE WATER, AND ITS COMPLETELY GONE, TOTAL LOST (off topic) when the chips are down going gets tough things not nice then those on board show their stuff I saw this lots in 68 in VietNam lots of big tough guys, big talkers they did not turn and run away not because a court martial would await them but probably because they noticed that those that did do this would have remained around for the next day and you might need to depend on him for help and knowing it is not there to be had so, lots of Moms and Dads got news ****ed by friendly fire accident ofcourse purple heart metal and under the purple color the color yellow war is hell always has and always will be Doug
