Rats! I was looking for at least $0.06. Should have listened to my gut after the cheesy intro of i.Sell. I thought the price jumped way too high on that announcement, but I couldn't believe that folks didn't know about it before hand; I reckoned something else was up that was masked by the i.Sell crap. Looks like I outsmarted myself. Should have sold at $9. Rats, Rats, and Double Rats! Kinda reminds me of the times as a kid I used to play chess against myself while trying to outsmart the other guy. :-o Yeah, yeah, I know, some of you are saying "Where's the challenge?" ;-)

Looking for something good on the call.

This is the first time I have seen an estimate in decimal points. Consensus or median est. is what most people look at.

BTW what was the rev figures for last quarter. Was there any sequential increase. I know in their last few reports, Informix mgt have crowed about qtr to qtr improvements. Stoak will probably be in the 7-9 range till next earnings.

Regards

Alok

I don't think that revenue growth was "solid" (as you put it) because the comparisons were done apples to oranges. Let me explain:

The press release says that Q1 revenue grew from $161MM to $196.6MM, a 22% increase. The reality is that IFMX had revenues of $161MM and REBD had revenues of $9.5MM in Q1 98, for a total of $170.5MM. Since REDB was acquired by IFMX, the revenues of $196.6MM should be compared to $170.5MM, which is much lesser growth of about 15%.
