Guardian, can you explain the situation regarding NSL?

If more co. are allowed to sell/register domain name, NSL
should lose income, as competition heats up, the registration
fee and renewal fee will drop down more (I read an article last week,
a exec from a registry firm was saying the fee should be $1.80), all
said, why NSL's price is flying today? I cannot come up a reasonable
logic myself.
