<1. Quicker launches in foreign markets

What do you want them to do, break the contract with AZ and sell it themselves. It will ramp up, so what if we have to wait till 4Q?>

No, I would like a company with sales expertise to do it. I would have expected whoever it is that is responsible for sales and marketing of a product to be ready to sell it as soon as possible. Not to wait for several months after. In Vivus' situation, I would expect them to be pushing AZ a little to move quicker. At this rate we will be lucky to be selling to most of EU by Jan 1, 2000.

<<2. Progress on marketing partner for US>>

As said before, they can't talk about. Believe me I want it come NOW, but I will wait a little longer.>

Talking about it is all the are doing. Its has been so long my dates may be off, but didn't Vivus cancel the contract for a sales force over a year ago. What moron would do that without a plan for someone else to take over? Forgiving that mistake, What is taking so long to negotiate a partner for the US? Is better to have an unfavorable contract for a year and get product out the door to increase efficiency or is better to sell a piddly $3.5 million in product? You be the judge.

<<<3. Progress on marketing partner for Japan>>
<<4. NO mention of VVUS taking on additional sales and marketing expenses>>

Do you want product sold or no?>

A simple 'you're right' will do.

<<<5. Better international sales in Q2, Channel stuffed for 2Q's thats ridiculous>>

I think this is 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. Nothing to get excited or depressed about.>

I could care less what quarter the revenue is recognized in. I am talking about how pathetic the management of this company is. AZ obviously expected regulatory approval, so they pre-ordered MUSE, but they wait 5 MONTHS to launch sales. Someone screwed up here.

<<<6. Lee Wilson resignation>>

I think people will have a different attitude a year from now.>

I'll grant you that, if he gets the price above $20. Its funny how a CEO's IQ and ability fluctuates with the stock price?
