>>How come the 4 QTR won't be highly profitable? Leland said Astra would need to restock inventories. Am I missing something?<<

Maybe they're pulling a "Microsoft" in terms of stated expectations?

RT, <<How come the 4 QTR won't be highly profitable? Leland said Astra would need to restock inventories. Am I missing something?

RT>> I believe they are being over cautious. I also believe there is some SPECIFIC reason why the domestic partner isn't signed. I fully expect it to be completed by end of 3Q.

Look, they didn't project any 3rd or 4th Q revenues. They are probably going to increase R+D to wipe out any profit, which I say is a very wise decision. Isn't the philosophy that Wall Street loves so much is to forget about the near term, focus on the future? (ala inrternet companies)

I would get very nervous if they had a huge profit at the expense of R+D, I would sell all my shares.

Yeah, you're missing that they are being very cautious in predicting anything. Then when it happens ahead of schedule like the milestone payments everyone is happy.

Don't build up any expectations and then surprise everyone. Very smart way to do business.
