Front running is not illegal as long as he isn't a broker / advisor/ fund manager ... he's a free spirit.

I would imagine it IS illegal, to have inside knowledge of a takeover and then to spread that information. But if he always says it's a rumor, that might just protect him.

I suspect he has been carefully prompted by his numerous attorneys, on what he can and can't do to stay within the law.

You have to admit, he does keep the internet interesting.

He's not registered with the SEC. He's not a broker. He just posts his opinion. That's why he's pretty much immune from the SEC. At least that's what Money said.
