CNBC reported that a couple of large hedge funds that SHORTED the S&P covered today at the close!!

This is a bullish sign as naysayers have surrender to the markets BULLS as they make another serious run but unlike the previous ones...this one has legs as its being driven by blow out earnings on the tech sector and the upcoming week still has AOL and Doubleclick earnings which will also blow out estimates....!!!

This ride will be solid since the markets have broaden accross cyclicals, financials, and technology.

I really think AOL will retest its high of 170's before earnings are due next week!!!!!

Hector

Vendit,
Maria was just interviewing the RNWK CFO Paul Bialek and he was talking about broadband oppty with several companies. He said AOL, but then quickly corrected himself to say @home and others. Freudian slip maybe? Perhaps this is Voltaire's prediction of a big deal forthcoming?

Looks good Vendit, Fair volume and ending with an upward push. Day two of our recovery. I had my doubts today figured we'd sell off later in the day. I was wrong. Earnings and investors trying to get in, or back in for that ride to $215 has got AOL pumping.

Went out and bought myself a new Weber Gas Grill just for sitting tight last week .

VENDIT - what is "overhead R" as in "overhead R of $175 1/2"? Thanks and best wishes to all of you, though I just can't imagine it...

Regards,
Jeff Smith

My Dear Man,

When Vendit tells me what the resistance is, as Wordsworth would say, " those are long, long thoughts " and all the thoughts I need.

Thanks,
