<<PS I think Lee is playing dumb and has something brewing here. The shorts aren't covering on any of my shares tomorrow.>>

The sad thing is Lee isn't playing dumb. He is dumb.

VLAD, Frostman and all: It has now become clear to me that a domestic partner offer was not even on the table last year. There may not even be an offer on the table now. Listening to the conference call helped me come to this conclusion.

Why? Lee stated that showing financial stability will help with partner efforts. This means many potential partners were not interested last year because VVUS may not survive.

He also stated that negative news on Viagra would raise awareness for alternatives, and the medical community has their eyes and ears open.

I also conclude why would any potential partner want to sign on when it is unclear that MUSE would survive against Viagra.

We are now in the post-hype viagra era and Germany I think is the key. If they can show that MUSE can sell in Germany, and with the other items I mentioned above, a partner should come forth with a good offer.

He also stated success in selling MUSE is necessary to fuel R&D.

Now the big question which I regret not thinking of during the conference call. How do we measure the success of the MUSE launch in Germany? Are there IMS statistics like in US?

I'll call vvus IR tomorrow as well.
