Oracle Shows Internet Developers the Way Forward at iDevelop '99

Partners With Sun Microsystems to Deliver Worldwide Conference Series
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Apr. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its commitment to the Internet development community, Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq: ORCL) today announced iDevelop '99, the company's largest series of worldwide developer conferences and seminars. A combination of 12 Conferences and more than 150 seminars this year, the Oracle(R) Technology Network (OTN) series is designed to provide developers with up-to-date information to develop Internet applications on the Oracle Internet Platform.
iDevelop '99, delivered in partnership with Sun Microsystems, provides Internet developers with the technical information they need to develop applications using technologies such as Java, CORBA and XML. The conference features the Oracle Internet Platform, comprised of Oracle8i(TM), Oracle Application Server and the full range of Oracle's development tools.

iDevelop '99 delivers technical product information directly from the experts inside the development groups of Oracle and Sun. Sessions cover all levels of development expertise from novice to expert and cover the full range or Oracle and Sun Internet technology. Extensive hands-on classes take developers through all the steps necessary to build web sites, server-side Java applications and database applications enabled for the Internet or for corporate intranets. In addition, at the end of the conference, all attendees will receive complimentary membership of Oracle Technology Network, Oracle's online resource for Internet developers, and development copies of the software and tools discussed during the conferences, including the Oracle8i database.
