Paul Re <<Based on that, I would guess Vantis is unloaded for <2x sales - it is a distress sale, after all.>>

2.5 X sales, not bad :)

Will it move AMD up or down tomorrow?

Good guess at the price range Tad.

So, it looks like Vantis was not a desperation sale. Useful cash influx for AMD, nice consolidation move for Lattice.

Paul - RE: "Based on that, I would guess Vantis is unloaded for <2x sales - it is a distress sale, after all."

Now that AMD will have an influx of money, where do you think they will use it? Is there anything other than debt payments and FAB equipment for this nice sum of money to go to?

Does anyone know how many people Vantis employs?

Also, where are Vantis's products FAB'd.

WRONG! <2x sales - it is a distress sale>

2x sales is not a distress sale.

.2X (.4X if you are lucky) sales is a distress sale on my side of the tracks IMHO

Note: an exception is if you have Internet, e or commerce in your name
then maybe 2X is an extreme distress sale!!!
