The thinking, I'm sure, is that there is no problem. At the moment, demand exceeds what some of these companies can supply. RFMD and KOPN both appear to have underestimated demand, at least for this quarter. This situation is extrapolated indefinitely into the future, and the stocks are bid up. I don't follow AXTI, but since the entire group is doing well, that could account for most of the stock movement. It's probably highly correlated. I look forward to Kopin's earnings report next week. We'll see if high demand for HBT wafers added anything to the bottom line or just resulted in lost sales. The average estimate for KOPN has come all the way down to 1 cent according to the table at Yahoo! That should be very easy to beat, a lay-up. WT
