No profits (or losses) until the deal is closed. Anybody taking profits here ?

I really think we are seeing a move on fundamentals. The reason for my "factious" comment was that I had not seen a post from you before, and a quick look at your profile led me to believe that you were not following this company, even though you owned some of its stock.

Any company that is got it's stock moving, like Q is moving, will be subject to a lot of short sales, day trades, and wide swings.

I have noticed, on these boards, a constant friction in the outlook of traders, such as Gotch,(and maybe yourself, if that is your outlook,)and us long term bulls. Thats normal, and to be expected.

Obviously, someone is taking profits, because somebody sold 3 million shares to buyers today. I don't think they were all short sales, or shorts covering previous sales.

It looks to me that we are seeing a ton short sellers loosing their buts and covering there positions at any cost

You never know what can happen tomorrow..OK, but if those scumbag shorts got burned well scumbags if you are reading this then just leave the Q alone and go away.
