<<< Sig did you actually have a margin call Monday or just get too close for comfort? >>>
Not Monday, was April 14 th, I owed them $1100. Despite having added 10K to the account on the 14 th, that money did not count because their books are settled overnight. So I got a letter in the mail Sat,(no phone calls) the 16th saying I owed them $1100 by the 20th.
So am much happier now knowing how it works, that I have choice
of how to settle it and days to settle it in.
But I took care on Monday not to get that close again.
<< Re Fidelity and brokers.>>>
I could get along with a broker that allowed margin only on Dell and no other(hehe)

<<< I'll check the calls on Spyglass, its probably too late for the others. Which one do you have?>>>
I have Oct 20's at 3 1/2 YQGJD. Very few are traded so its an adventure to estimate the daily price from the bid and ask's with no actual trades taking place. Would rather have a stock where more calls are traded

<<< Did you see my baby, Knight Trimark? I'm so proud (been in it since 45 with 300 shares) its the only stock I found all by myself!!>>>
I did not see it but stick with it as long as it works, it
will give you a big advantage in the same manner as we more or less(G) know well how Dell performs.
Good luck
Sig
