Does anyone know how Ronald McDonald House currently obtains income for their charities?

Well, I started doing some looking with all this rumor talk...

Ronald McDonald House Charities has awarded almost $200 million in grants to children's programs. Funding and volunteer support comes from McDonald's owner/operators, restaurant & regional staff and suppliers. Customers support the charity with a variety of fundraising events & programs as well as through donations to the canisters we see in the McDonalds locations. They have almost 20,000 volunteers. The charity asks for contributions by the families staying in the Ronald McDonald Houses (they ask for $5 - $20 per day), but they can stay for free if necessary. And, of course, I'd assume others make their own private donations.
