Well I wouldn't be averse to picking up some OEX puts tomorrow morning a the height of the frenzy. I'm actually in very small option positions and only SWS, ISSX are approaching my usual positions, and even them only half. I was bullish on ISSX for so long and it has acted much like NSOL (correcting) for an even longer term. I really want this one to move.

Jeff: I, sadly, think you are right when you say:
<Well, I dunno. When I see such exuberance and giddiness and high fives all around, I'm thinking it might be time to sell.>

We saw how fast stocks can plunge a few days ago. Today, we saw how fast they can go up. This might be a dead-cat bounce or the beginning of a major correction, as some gurus are predicting, unfortunately. One was on CNBC this evening.

I am only holding minor stakes in four longs right now (and I'm only long in the most solid, tried-and-true-stocks)and have more than the usual amount of money set aside in cash.

Have heard too many local financial gurus saying they are "not in a buying mood" this month--odd when you consider some of the alleged "bargains" out there.
