SAN JOSE, Calif., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Flextronics International Ltd. (Nasdaq: FLEX),
a leading global full-service supplier of innovative design, engineering and manufacturing
solutions, today announced that Palm Computing, Inc., a 3Com company (Nasdaq: COMS),
and Flextronics are expanding their business relationship in which Flextronics will serve as one
of the primary sources for manufacturing services and production of the Palm(TM) line of

"Flextronics is proud of our long-standing relationship with Palm Computing and excited about
our new expanded business relationship to provide manufacturing services for Palm Computing
connected organizers," said Michael Marks, chairman and CEO, Flextronics International.
"This strategic relationship with Flextronics complements Palm Computing's advanced virtual
manufacturing organization with enhanced logistical services and the most sophisticated
manufacturing technologies and processes for its popular Palm products," Marks added.

"Flextronics' competitive pricing and global manufacturing operations provide logistical
advantages, and the company's engineering expertise in providing advanced product
development and testing for future Palm Computing products ensures the highest standards of
quality and reliability are maintained for our customers," said Robin Abrams, president, Palm
