heinz: I can tell you I was nearly wiped out myself. I had a huge "safe" position in KRI at the time and I'll never forget watching it melt away at the rate of a percent a minute or something at the height. Roughly 35 or 40 percent of my holdings evaporated on that one day in what was my largest position by far. I didn't have a lot of experience at the time and I can tell you it was traumatic. But what a lesson! It was, of course, one of the great buying ops, as Buffett has made a point of reminding us about over and over. On the other hand, it is also true as P. Lynch has said, something that has gone up, can go up more. Best, M2
