wvalx, If Leland doesn't have a partner signed by mid may then I am going. If I go then I will plan a meeting of SI investors at a predetermined location the evening before the meeting. The purpose of this meeting will be to form an organized list of questions to ask Leland Wilson on the day of the meeting. And in force WE WILL ALL BE EXPECTING STRAIGHT ANSWERS FROM HIM. Its not going to be like last year where poor DAVID was the only one of us here attending and asked about 3 questions that he got evasive answers on. The important questions will be asked and direct honest answers will be EXPECTED. After the share holders meeting we will have another meeting to determine what if anything we can do to get rid of Wilson if he is not on the up and up with his answers.

Summer Holidays etc Often people over here take family summer vacations 2-3 weeks coinciding with school holidays, in UK July-August. Custom varies between countries, eg in Italy the whole damn place closes down for Ferragosto, the same two weeks usually mid August when everyone goes off to the sea or mountains. Says to me that launches may well be in September. I would not know how to begin buying shares in Frankfurt...I don't now who is getting these few Vivus shares...If you use Schwab eg in US then you use exactly the same web site and account system as I do to deal. I do also have a Europe Schwab account in Sterling as I have started to invest here, but it is a totally different site. Leland said in last CC that it would be a challenge to break even in Q1 even with milestones. Even if he was setting us up for one milestone of £2M in Q1 this would still have produced a 6 cent earning. So either he understimated sales or he is indeed ultra conservative in projections. QUESTION on PE following Vlad...how could we not know about phase I trials? I believe the annual report referrred to preclinical studies. So how can phaseII be forecast now? Makes me think, could gene therapy phase I have already started...nobody will tell me so far.
