Caxton,

the most "interesting" part of the short segment was royalties. The reporter said for every CDMA phone sold, QCOM receives 3% royalties no matter who made the phone. I wonder if that is true.

It is very difficult being a reporter these days, when there are so many other sources for data. Even the newcomers on this thread should immediately be able to pick up that QC report was a rush job by a few individuals who knew zippo about CDMA and QC. At least they found Alex Cena and Tim Luke, 2 pretty bullish QC analysts to interview. Can you imagine what Crabbi would have said?
