Waiting For Squawkbox I hope everyone doesn't mind if I start the day on a lighter note. I too was dismayed by the situation in Colorado. However, I started wondering if anyone remembers the phrase, " an E-ticket ride"? (I think it started at Disneyland, with the E tickets getting you on all the best and wildest rides.) That's what Squawkbox reminds me of--especially when they have Joe Battipaglia, Haines, Kernen and Faber. Ooooo, baby! I haven't been watching many of the other shows this week because I've been too depressed. I found out I have to sell more stock to pay state and estimated taxes. Earlier this year I diversified my portfolio (can you say "bottom fishing" ?), but now I'm going to have to resell. Stocks are like babies; I believe that if these had another year or so, they would mature, but I don't have that much time. Guess I learned the hard way not to invest what you can't afford to lose, or with too short a time frame... Oh well, at least I have some to sell. There goes Pollyanna again! And these are certainly minor problems compared to other things happening--kind of puts things in perspective. Laurie the sending out prayers
