Gary, I agree too with the article, but, as it applies to Dell, there is an important caveat... Dell is reporting sales from February-April... The article, and IDC/Dataquest data to be released later this week, address sales from January-March... January was a weak month (very weak, in fact) for Dell.... Dell took the hit LAST quarter. All of the other PC makers (save, I guess H-P) are going to take the hit THIS QUARTER... Surely, you would agree that the odds are pretty darn good that April sales for Dell are going to be better (probably much better) than January sales were.. Just needed to point that out, since we are on the Dell thread...<G>
