DEMP conference call.... DEMP are re-fitting their website with Oracle as their technology partner.... looking to make ecommerce a separate division... they are investing several million dollars over the next 4 months.... also investigating possible future financial structures... in discussions with DLJ regarding this (IPO spinoff?)... announcment possible in next 6-9 weeks regarding this. The upgrade date has been set internally but not publicly announced. Aggressive promotion strategy once website is upgraded... starting with in-store promotion to loyal customer base in their 140 retail stores - also with portals.... and possible "business to business" developments. Only pharmacy licensed to fulfill prescriptions in 50 states. + Retail store background allows strong fulfillment for website orders.
