Andy, for stock like C, GM, GE, KO, you might do so to time
their market and to gain more shares at the end.

It is very difficult to time the internet stocks, especially AOL, every time I timed AOL, I bought back fewer shares, nobody else to
blame by myself.

As Voltarie said, everyone has a 'sleep tolerance', but my sleep
tolerance usually costs me whenever it reached the max.

The learning never ends ... with AOL.

Hopefully, we'll be true and true 'long term', but by then, AOL
may be dull ...

I feel sorry bought your stock at 120. I also bought 1000 shares at 130 on that day. I have not found the seller yet. :-)

Condolences Andy,
From your profile you actually went against your stated style. If I've learned anything , it's buy what you believe in and don't get caught up in the "stream" of day to day rumors and moves. A week or two of downward movement does not make a trend.
Trend spotting is the key.
