Hi Tool, Anthony says it best -- go to post #31594. I'm still working on finding the US correspondent bank for Stopanka Banka. Schwab said they needed it to wire funds, Wells Fargo said they didn't. You may be able to wire funds directly. Checks will take a long time to arrive via snailmail and clear. Anthony knows the value of a $, and I believe his eyes-on endorsement that the money will be used most effectively. We can debate the politics till we all turn blue, but any way you figure it, the refugees are horribly victimized. If NATO did nothing, Milosevic was "cleansing" a village a day. With the bombing going on, between the Serbian forces and Macedonia, they both wish the refugees would all die in the mountains. And if we go in with ground troops, they'll be used as human shields, and will suffer the brunt of the violence. My guess is Anthony may have to choose his words somewhat carefully until he's out of there, but there is unspeakable suffering and fear being inflicted upon a massive number of innocent people day after day.
