I don't disagree with you, really, just trying to say that LPGL is a bit different than the others you keep mentioning...I was in on many of them....have you been shorting CMGI after one of their holdings goes IPO ????

With the others, it was a 1-shot deal....they did the IPO and it was over, end of story....

With LPGL, they have the venture capital portion of their company, with 15 or so private investments and more coming all the time....They did NETG, now they are doing NETP, soon they will be doing RAMP, then it will be another one....

And very few people know about it....it hasn't been hyped up like most of the other plays...

I think it could well run-up tomorrow and then fall back Friday even if NETP opens at $50 (if it opens under $40 and maybe under $50, I will be buying on the open market)....I think NETP will eventually go to $100 if the InterNUTS stay healthy...

Wish you well with both NETP and LPGL...if you get NETP shares at the IPO price, a short of LPGL as a hedge makes more sense....of course, since you can only get a few shares at best at the IPO price, the hedge should only be for a somewhat like amount of LPGL....

Let us know if you get your Wit/E*Trade shares of NETP !!!!

Jimbo.

Ken:

Well, looks like you played LPGL like a fiddle. Congrats. What's next up on the menu? Looks like the following are due to go next week:

HITS/PTET
RAZF/OMC
MPTH/CSKKY

OMC has 160 million shares out and CSKKY 63.7 million ADS outstanding so I don't expect much from them. Guess it's HITS/PTET then, have not seen much buzz on that.

In early May we should get BNBN/BKS, CBDR/AUD, TSCM/NYT. Of that group BNBN/BKS looks like the only one worth playing since AUD and NYT have so many shares outstanding.
