Rod:

I just checked commodity prices and noted an inverted pricing on the NYMEX for crude. Basically. short-term contracts are going for higher per barrel prices than longer term contracts. I haven't been following NYMEX pricing for very long... Any thoughts about this pattern. If I'm not mistaken, during the decline in oil prices the short term pricing was consistently below the longer term pricing. Any and all thoughts about pricing patterns on the NYMEX from those knowledgeable about commodities futures contracts would be appreciated.
