Have been a voyeur for a year... however, I guess it's time to join the conversation (for my own intellectual benefit, of course). :) I can't help but think an acquisition is not only planned (given Birck's comments on the conference call) but is a requirement, considering TLAB's focus on an aquisition of data/packet networking. Am obviously happy they announced the split but think it a worthwhile exerciese to look at companies in the field that are potential acquisitions. We could win on both sides although I am a long TlLAB as of October, in at 40. Albeit a long wait to get in. All the best, Awashonks
