I think that they might if they are getting paid to do so! You tell me!>>> Think back about what I said about benefit of doubt. The odds strongly favour the bashers even on a legit stock. These people (me included) do not pretend to give both sides - merely to point out obvious red flags that suggest (to us) that the company may be a rotten investment or an out and out scam. It really is kind of fun and it has saved a lot of lurkers $$$ in the past. I think the chance that any of them are getting paid to bash is zero. I also doubt that any are short the stock although the odds are slightly better than zero. I, for example, after more than a year of searching, have finally found a broker that will let me short US BB stocks. I may be short ABFG or I may just be kicking the tires.
