Regarding Java...
Eric, if your are running a beta of 2000, then you are probably running IE5, these products where released prior to the decision by the court. Microsoft has 90 day to comply with the ruling, but is asking for more time to comply.
---

Sorry, you're wrong. The deadline date for complying with the ruling was in February. All products (beta or otherwise) distributed by MSFT since then are fully compliant with the court's ruling.

IE5 (whether in Win2000 or not) has a Java VM. Download it for yourself and see.

Yesterday, I was writing you from Win2000 B3RC1, running IE5, with a court-compliant Java VM. Right now I'm writing you from Win98, running IE5, with a court-compliant Java VM.
