What's amazing is that this board has the most positive views on gnet anywhere!!! Even with that, the highest prediction on earnings I saw was .05, and that was considered out there!! NOBODY SAW .07 COMMING! The market will go through the roof tomorrow!! IMO

How many SI members? 100,000 maybe. Every one of them should own at least 100 shares. That's 10 million shares controlled by members. What is float? I'd say if institutions want to up their stake, then they have to pay up big time -- or GNET splits several more times. Key word from management is they must make the stock more liquid. That to me says demand is going to be MUCH greater than there are shares available.

I remain,

SOROS

Ron,

I agree! It feels great to own a part of something that plays such an important part in our lives!

I will be at work tomorrow morning when the CEO is interviewed on Squawk Box on CNBC. I sure hope someone will post the highlights on the thread!

Best of luck to all,

Norma

Thanks to all who have educated me on the wonder of GNET. I'm from Seattle and started following after strong buy recommendation from Pacific Securities in Seattle Times. Bought at 104 when trading resumed after Vulcan announced buy in. I don't have much technical expertise to offer, but I have followed Paul Allen closely for the last few years. IMO he brings so much more than $$ to GNET. He is a pioneer visionary in the computer, and now Internet, arena. From my observation he is motivated by two primary things: 1)completing his vision of wired world and, 2)entertainment - for himself and others. I anticipate greater entertainment content brought to GNET over time. Don't know what form, but he does love rock 'n roll and classic movies.

I also don't think its an accident that Allen & Gates, Horowitz & other GNET founder (can't remember name) all went to the same private high school in Seattle. Its a breeding ground of excellence.

Speaking of entertainment, what a ride this week!! Thanks to all for helping me keep perspective. Springtime sure is GREEN in Seattle!
