Gary: It is predictable that the doom & gloom boys and girls over on the MB thread are rooting around in the IBM earnings report for support for their theory of a PC slowdown. It's hilarious listening to them, spin round and round trying to prove they are right, but as you said to earlie he better dig deep because the numbers look just dandy. Of course, when they really can't find anything to hang their hats on, they will start claiming that Gerstners lying or playing accounting tricks etc. etc. Very predictable consequence of cognitive dissonance in operation. <ggg> Aloha.
