memfly-these so-called analysts should be required to register with SEC and to provide disclosure at the SEC and on the Internet of the backup for their statements, they should have to perform analysis and state their assumptions, and should be held to the same standards of securities claims as other experts such as accountants. Further, their employers - the big brokerage firms- should be held liable for the mistakes of these analysts. Maybe that would shut them up.
