Don't forget we already have a working relationship with Siemens. They are a big investor in MMC.

I am definitely not sweating that release, complete or incomplete.

As Eli said during the c.c., MMC is an open standard like CF and there will be competitors which will share the market with SNDK. Also, these cards will require greater expertise for large scale production.

I like the fact that you can stack two MMC slots together, one on top of the other. Thus, a 128 MB card can translate to 256 MB of storage, or about 4 hours of mp3 play time.

I believe that SNDK will expect to make money on royalties for MMC RAM created by competitors. Again, the importance of the Lexar suit comes up. Hopefully MMC will not present the same challenges as CF in defending intellectual property.

I plan to inquire about this at the Shareholders' Meeting.
