<<<at what time can you begin to tell what dell is trading in pre - market trading?>>>
<http://www.quote.com/cgi-bin/jchart-form?genApplet=yes

About 8am this URL will begin to show some data or trades. If you go to 'volume' it will list the most active stocks -pre-market trades.
Or just type in 'Dell'. The pre-open figures (prices) will give a good clue to whether the stock will open up or down but
can be misleading on the exact amount.
You have picked a great fun day to try this. Too bad IBM does no trade pre-market. Also several stocks were halted after hours and may not open until late. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. You may try Altr, Cnet, Qcom, Gnet , Phg just for kicks. ( I would not put in 'Nok.a' this morning unless you own a wheelbarrow full)
Another source is yahoo finance URL which lists the quantities of pre open trades (if there are any). Then click on the
specific stock designation like 'Dell' and it will show the last, the bid, and the ask prices. If the bid is higher than the last or ask prices you will know you are in clover.(G)
