>>share details about 450 MHz!, please?<<

only changes I made in BIOS were:

SoftMenu Setup, changed CPU Speed to User Define, External Clock to 100 MHz, Multiplier to 4.5 (which probably didn't matter since it's locked anyways), and AGP/CPU to 2/3. I thought there was also a PCI divider but didn't see one -- hope I'm not frying my PCI devices!!

Chipset Features Setup, changed SDRAM CAS Latency Time to 3 from 2 (since I'm running the old, very cheap memory).

And that was it! Didn't touch the voltage. I'll monitor the temperature now and then and let you know. Will also run that Distributed thing to see how hot it gets at 100% constant usage. Don't expect any trouble. I've got the side of the case off, and am running the factory fan/heatsink and one case fan pointed right at the cpu with another one right next to it ready to turn on if needed. The case fan is nearly silent this way since there is no vacuum cleaner effect. Only noise is the hum from the HDD.

Still too early to be sure that it won't mess up, but it's looking good. Can't say that I've noticed any increase in speed, but it's early for that too.
