PSINet & Ampex Relationship

Hello All,

I believe that we are witnessing the strengthening of a very solid and mutually beneficial relationship between PSIX and AXC as the PSINet 1st Quarter Earnings Conference Call will be webcast live by Ampex on week.

A quick review of the Live TVW Webcast Schedule reveals that the keynote address of Bill Schrader, PSINet CEO, at the Annual High Tech Council of Maryland Dinner signals the real strength of the bond that has grown between these two fine companies.

Look for more evidence of a strategic alliance between the two and I believe that you will find it right under our noses. IMHO - Mr. Schrader is mentoring Ampex. I would not be surprised to find out that Mr. Schrader points the analysts following PSIX in the direction of AXC sometime in the future.

Annual Shareholders' Meeting

Hookjock,

Perhaps the Ampex Annual Meeting will be rescheduled as I understand there is no mandatory requirement to adhere to any SEC pre-filed date or previous meeting time-frame.

I am sure that Apmex will hold their meeting and possibly webcast the event once they have tied up some loose ends on the blockbuster deals yet to be announced. The timing of the meeting is very important and provides the perfect venue to make any announcement.

Hookjock,

I emailed Karen at Ampex Investor relations yesterday and she stated in her reponse that the chairman's letter will be out on this Friday or early next week.

She stated this was due to the amount of work that had to be done for the refiling of the l0Q's as well as other priorities. The annual meeting was also moved from May 14 to May 28.
