I never thought a great deal of Yorkton, now I certainly think even less. On top of that, I undertstand that Pavan believes that Bids is overvalued compared to Ebay, etc. Ebay's revenues are approximately 4 to 5 times that of Bids and it has a market cap of approximately $19 billion. Bids market cap was in the range of $750mm to $1B, now lower. Ebay's P/E is in the range of 8,000+. I need an explanation of Pavan's comments, because I assure you I don't understand them. He also comments that he does not like the long-term viability of the low margin on-line auction business. What I appreciate is that the company's underwriter promotes the sh#t out of the company only to downgrade it shortly thereafter. Even if he's right, this certainly cannot improve Yorkton's already suspect reputation.
