I agree with you. The Street has changed its opinion about DELL because of the $300M revenue miss but also because of the warning that CPQ gave about a softer PC environment. It has always ben my opinion that on CPQ could screw up a PC business during the best two year period of time for technology.

INTC was actually good news but it did not get perceived as good news. MSFT came next and said that the PC business was robust. Now, IBM shows POC business may actually be better than robust. GTW comes out today and it is important for DELL because GTW adopted DELL's business model and has been successful with it.

DELL options was cheap yesterdya before the news. I bought 50 calls because either one of two things was going to happen: IBM would report a loss for its PC business and decide to get out of the PC bulding business (benefits DELL) or IBM would report great PC sales numbers (benefits DELL). I expect GTW to report great numbers and DELL to go up again. 50 by DELL's earning's report!

Yes I know I hate to see Dell playing second fiddle to the losers,I don't know why but it gets my goat.I wish they soon start taking the leadership position when it comes to the stock price instead of going up 1/8th of a point on the losers' coat-tail.What is with these people I don't know.
