What if Malone buys 25%-30% of RealNetworks with stock from TUNE (soon to become Liberty Digital )?

"If the transaction closes, TCI Music will change its name to Liberty
Digital, and will be used as Liberty's "primary vehicle for investing in and
developing Internet and other interactive media businesses," the company
said in a statement."

Now look at the family that TUNE comprises: Internet companies such as priceline.com, drugstore.com, and
maybe RealNetworks. Add to the mix ACTV, AT&T's @Home, and the vast cable tv holdings of Liberty
Media such as Discovery, QVC, and others.

This would be like cross-ruffing in bridge. A hand that works extremely well together from both sides of the
board. Malone won't own the tv-internet combination, but he'll have a good downpayment.
