The piece opens: "Passing the 'BioBucks' -- Small Investors Aren't In on the Joke Inflated deal values sometimes only way firms can raise funds TOM ABATE "Everyone in the industry knows the joke about BioBucks --except perhaps the small investors who own biotech stocks. "BioBucks is the term used to describe the inflated value of partnership deals that small biotech firms sign with pharmaceutical companies.
