Exodus Comm Inc. Raised to 'Strong Buy' at ING Baring Furman


Princeton, New Jersey, April 22 (Bloomberg Data) -- Exodus Communications Inc. (EXDS US) was raised to ''strong buy'' from ''buy'' by analyst David Levy at ING Baring Furman Selz LLC. The 6 to 12-month target price is $ 130 per share.

DEMP conference call:

Sounds like a possible IPO spinoff for their website - they are looking at possible financial structures for their ecommerce division - in discussions with DLJ on this.

New website being worked on with serious backend/fulfillment objectives - Oracle is their technology parnter in this. Serious investment in website able to handle large quantity of business.
Marketing (portals) will happen once upgrade is in place.

Only pharmacy licensed to fulfill prescriptions in 50 states.

Gapping down on open - I guess traders were hoping for bigger, more immediate news.
Buy opportunity for 1-2 month hold.
