yep, Wayne I see the same round my parts... everyone is a genius in a bull mkt... i'm only 40, too young for the 73-74 bear, but i know it happened...even 87 and grey monday of 98 are forgotten... if coke trades at 40 x earnings, that means we get our $ back in 2039...just when the warren commish reopens...<ng> at least when the old ladies go for their 4 % guaranteed income cert...they get the 4 % PLUS their original stake... but so long as we's having fun... there is the story of a bunch of wealthy investors, they didn't each want to pay an advisor, so they get one to go in, say he has a million $ and ask how to invest...they figure they'll split the fee... the advisor says, keep all of the $ in cash in your mattress, except, $ 3000 of it... the customer is puzzled. what do i do with the $ 3000 the advisor says, give it to me for the fee for this advice... needless to say , none of the men followed the advice, and of course the fee was not paid...needless to say, this was early in 1929 and the advice would have been well worth it ! H
