Yup - I expected IBM to move up big today and it has done so - up 27 pts shortly after the open.

The play I wanted to put in place - buy the 170 leaps and sell the 170 put - never made it, however.

I opened a new account with Preferred Capital which I expected to be up and running yesterday to enter the trade. It didn't make it and it took a while this morning to get everything working properly so I missed the climb.

If I could have gotten in yesterday and sold this morning could have picked up 15 on the leap and almost 6 on the put - pushing 90% overnight short term return!

Ain't hindsight wonderful? :)

Oh, well - there will be another time.

PS - can sell the put against the LEAPS with Perferred, by the way.
