Robert, You chose to ignore my whole point. You can ban any and everything but in doing so you only deny access to those who choose to abide by your law. If people want guns for vicious purposes they will get them anyway, the same way convicted felons get them now. There are no quick fixes. The only effective solution is to teach all our children responsibility and respect. Sorry, it won't happen over night.

Bob: Please, what is your argument suggesting a cause-effect relationship to gun? The argument you make is spurious and no more sensible than outlawing pantyhose to prevent strangulation or beer taps to prevent drunkenness. The logical flaw is one of drawing conclusions based upon invalid presuppositions. Let's hear some facts proving the cause-effect relationship between guns and violent crimes. Correlations are invalid arguments and bears no more of a cause-effect relationship than drug pushers wearing shoes!
