Chris:

Nor do I see an end game yet , but I do see (finally) the ability to start picking off the wounded. I've been on the sidelines and advocating that for most situations over the past year. I've done very little other than "nibble". Now I see conditions finally providing a cautious bear with some decent opportunities. Notice the word cautious. I also think it is much too soon to lay on big positions. If I am going to put on a position, a big up day is my favourite time to do so. That is why I commented on IBM as I did.

An example is MU. All of us had enough info to know that its time was at hand, especially knowing that a bunch of big sellers would have no choice but to hit the bids starting on April 1. Add in all the other stuff that has been openly discussed and it was a natural. I'll stay with this one now well down into the low teens.

Best, Earlie
