Had NSOL at 180 presplit, sold at 300, then bought back in at 90 post split... what's the opinion on it going to 150 post split again??

another more general question... sorry for asking it here, but it's hard to find other threads here to follow all the time.

Regarding the 32 point jump yesterday, what were the mechanics behind that? I mean, who decided that it would go up a certain number of points? Is it the market makers on Wall Street, or simply people pushing up their limit buy and sell orders notch by notch until it hits a certain price? I'm most curious about pre-market opening jumps... who exactly decides, and how, the amount that a stock gains or loses before the market opens?
