It's when religions collide that you have war/killings. Politics and other dynamics are the forces that can make the collision. I am X, you are Y. You believe something that I think is a load of crap and vice versa. All it then takes is some event and then potentially all people of X against all people of Y. History makes it worse as people are then taught to hate for past killings of their people; look at Israel and Northern Ireland as examples (catholics vs. protestants ... jews versus muslims).
